HELP! My [Family Member] Isn't Catholic!
Most of us have experienced the difficult or uncomfortable situation of having family members who are not in communion with the Catholic Church, or who have left the Church and no longer receive her sacraments. It can be a real challenge to understand what the Church expects us to do about it, what we should say, and how much responsibility rests on us (especially regarding our adult children). It can also be the cause of strain and worry about their future. Sometimes, it can be difficult to deal with the confrontations and uncomfortable conversations at holidays and family gatherings.
This series will bring both comfort and practical suggestions as to how we can move forward with our non-Catholic family members in healthy ways. We will learn: the real reasons people avoid or leave the Church, what…
